You're finally here! You are so beautiful little guy. You got here at 11:37PM Friday August 31st 2012. You weighed 8 pounds 5 ounces and were 21.5 inches long. Big boy indeed! You were born from a c-section since mommy was unable to continue to dialate past a 6cm range - and you definitely wouldn't have fitten through that!
Last night was the best night of me and your daddy's lives. However,
mommy was in a lot of pain. After the c-section they had us in a bed
that wouldn't move up and so mommy was laying straight down and couldn't
move or breath because of the pain from the surgery, so I wish I could
have held you a little more but I didn't want to hurt you, so everyone
else got to hold you and get their pictures with you while the hospital
got me a new bed.
Once I was able to sit up I was okay and I just
couldn't let you go. You kept looking into my eyes with your pale
blue/brown eyes with your tongue sticking out at me. That's how I knew
you were definitely my son, since your dad HATES when people stick their
tongues out.
I was overwhelmed with how much love I already had for you and I couldn't have ever imagined feeling like this. Your my little guy and I will always be there for you, whether you want me to or not. I can't wait to see you grow up, and watch you through every milestone you have until the day I die. You will always be mine. The nurses have you right now, doing some testing on you, but from what they've been telling us your the best baby in the nursery. You barely cry unless your hungry which is great for mommy and daddy so we know. I can't wait to have you back in my arms little man.
