You are absolutely adorable baby!

This morning, you went up to the snake that we caught for you in the yard and say "Hi 'Nake" and then you go get your animal book and turn to the page with a snake and point to it and said " 'Nake".

I love how much you're learning and I love being able to teach it to you. 

Then... I had just got done changing your diaper, you grabbed your diaper, went and put it in the garbage and came back and said "more", so I handed you more garbage and we did this probably 4 times before you got bored of it. 

Thank you for being such a helper!

First Family Camping Trip

June 28th 2014

We had planned a day at the lake before your uncle Patrick left but he didn't end up wanting to go, so instead I planned a spur of the moment camping trip. 

We went up to Red Feather Lakes and took one of the free camp sites and set up camp! 

Seth, I was so worried about you, especially at night because it was so cold and you're only a month old. But you did just fine! 

It was a great time and now we're planning another for Garrett's birthday weekend :)

So the last 6 months, dad and I decided that we would have me stay home with you boys for multiple reasons. Reason 1 being I could be home with you boys to work with you and raise you myself instead of a baby sitter. Reason 2 being we wouldn't have to pay for a baby sitter. They are just so damn expensive now a days, it'd just be better for me to be home with you guys.

 

Well because dad works construction and we never know if he's gonna work a full day or if its raining in Colorado (which happens a lot) he won't work. So I'm currently back working to get us caught back up on bills. And to get us into a situation that we are not stressing, not struggling and we have everything we want or need.

 

But I miss you boys so much. I just want to go back to staying at home. This is terrible leaving you at home with Ashley for my short days, and with Nana and Papa on Thursdays.

 

I can't wait to be home with you again my loves. Soon we'll be able to!

 

 



More Newborn Pictures :)

June 20th 2014

So yesterday, I went to go pick up our family pictures at the studio and they told me that the next day was a training day where it is completely free and 3 free printed sheets for free. So I scheduled a session thinking you boys would do good together since Garrett, you're getting better with him.

Oh...Was I so WRONG!

Today I decided that I will never take both of you out to errands or pictures by myself again! Not until you can learn to listen a little better Garrett. I was completely exhausted only half way through.

We tried very hard to get a picture of the two of you together, but when we tried after a second, Garrett you pushed Seth off of you and if I wasn't sitting right there he would have went face first onto the floor.. 

Lesson Learned!

Family Outing

June 18th 2014

Today we went for a family outing because of Mommy and Daddy's anniversary, we wanted to get out of the house a little. 

Daddy drives by a place everyday and has been wanting to take us out there to see it, its in Windsor called Water Valley. Its a house division that is being built and will be a gated community. Inside there is a large lake (big enough for boats), a golf course, a dr community office, etc. It was absolutely beautiful.

Garrett, dad took you down to the water and you kept pointing at it and saying "fish" "fish". It was absolutely adorable. On our way home you kept pointing at any body of water we seen and said "fish, fish". Your completely obsessed with fish right now and its just way to cute. 

Mommy and Daddy's Anniversary!

Happy Anniversary!

Today marks the day that your dad and I have been together for the last 3 years. 

You boys have no idea and will hopefully never know the struggles that we have been through the last three years, but since you came around Garrett, we've cleaned up our act and grown up a lot. Garrett, at this point in time you have only lived in 3 homes Before then your dad and I moved almost once per month. We were all over the place and weren't responsible. Once you were born we knew we couldn't do it anymore. And we've cleaned ourselves up since then. 

You boys may hear us fight a lot, and I know its not a good thing for you boys to be around. But when you're older and in your own relationships you'll know, fighting is a completely natural need in a relationship. Its not healthy not to have arguments. We don't ever get out of hand but we do spit and spat. But we try to keep it away from you guys as much as we can.

Your Daddy and I love each other very much. Your dad has meant so much more to me to anything else in this world (except you boys of course), I don't know what I'd do without him. He is my rock. Since the moment I met your dad I knew we were going to work out. We we're going to have a future and a life. You could say it was love at first sight. I tried to deny it for so long but looking back at it now, I knew. I knew then and I know now. 

When you boys find someone you love, hang onto them with every fiber of your being. If you believe its true love, never let it go. I know I won't.

You have been an amazing dad. More than I ever could have imagined you would be. Almost 3 years ago when I met you I would never have dreamed of you being the father of my children but now that it's happened and we are where we are I'm absolutely amazed by you. You have been so wonderful with each of our boys. Garrett absolutely adores you; ten times more than me. Which makes me a little jealous but I'm so proud to see the relationship that you guys have together. 

I love you Brian, I can't wait to see how you and our boys' relationships grow. 

Big Brother Status

You've officially been promoted to big brother status! Congratulations little buddy!

You have been an awesome big brother so far! You're so sweet and gentle (to a point) with your baby brother, I'm so proud of you. Every time you're around Seth its "baby" "baby" "baby". The last few days that we've been home you wake up and say "mama, baby" and you're so excited to see us. Whenever Seth is lounging around, in his car seat, in my arms, or in his swing, you first started poking his head, and I told you to be gentle and nice, and now all you do is rub is head.

We tell you to give your brother a kiss and you just lean your head on his head, its absolutely so sweet. There was one day, Seth was in his swing, and you went over and gave him a "kiss" and then you tried to give him a hug and tried to pick him up. It scared the living shit out of all us because we didn't know if you were gonna get him picked up before we could get there to stop you.

You've been awesome little dude, I'm so proud of how well you're taking your brother being home.
