Potty training is a bitch!

July 24th 2014

Sorry little dude but it really is!

We've had you in big boy underwear for 5 days now, and you will go and sit on your potty but you won't actually go potty in your potty. You go in your underwear, or you take your underwear off to go.

Normally, I would think you're just not ready. But you're ready. You're taking your diaper off to pee and poop in your bed, you take your diaper off to pee inside and outside the house. You don't want to wear it anymore. I know that. So Bud, just help us out, start usin your damn potty!!

I'm one proud mama!

July 24th 2014

Garrett, you make me such a proud mama. I figured you wouldn't adjust to Seth being home very well, but that's not even the case! All you've done recently is just want to hold him. Matter of fact if I turn my back for even just a second, you've tried getting him out of his swing.

Slow down little guy! He isn't going anywhere!

Scary Scary!

Seth Reed Miller

You gave all of us quite the scare the weekend of July 12th, it started off with just a dry cough, and went into where you were weezing while you were trying to breath. I took you into Urgrent care Sunday morning, the dr said that she would be very surprised if you didn't have RSV.. So we went to the hospital and got your congestion tested. It was negative. Later in the day I was feeding you in my arms, and your face went white and lips turned blue. You wouldn't stop eating to breathe, so I took away your bottle and you regained color. I called your dad because he wasn't home and had my car, and told him he needed to get home because I needed to take you into the ER, a ten minute drive took him 2 minutes and we had you in the car.

On the way to the hospital I was so scared that it was going to happen again, I sped so much that if I had a cop behind me I wouldn't have stopped. I would have just continued. The speed limit on the roads I took were 30 and 40, and I don't think my spedometer went under 50 except when I stopped at a light or stop sign. You were rushed in immediently and your oxygen levels were okay, but everytime you would cough they would drop.

They still haven't been able to figure out why you were so congested, but we tried and tried sucking our your nose, and nothing would come out. The ER doctor ended up admitting you overnight and when we got upstairs they suctioned your nose with a machine and that seemed to work much better. By the end of the night doing the machine suction you were able to breathe normal again. Which made it to where I could breathe again.

It was just me and you little guy. We had a rough night at the hospital but we got through it together. I was so scared while you were in there, being a mother to a sick baby just makes one feel so helpless. There was nothing I could have done for you to feel better besides than just being there for you. And thats exactly what I did. I love you little man. Please don't scare me like that again!

July 4th 2014

What a busy day! The morning was all about cleaning for our BBQ that evening, but Garrett - You were not making it easy on us my love. You were absolutely miserable ALL day and you just looked terrible.

Nana and Papa were the first ones to show up, and one look from Nana, she gave you literally everything you wanted for the rest of the day.

Papa had a few firecrackers that he wanted set off with you but when he did you ran the other way and just started to cry.

Poor little guy!

Well the next morning I ended up taking you into the Dr and found out you had a double ear infection. That would be why you didn't like the fireworks and why you were just so miserable.
