You gave all of us quite the scare the weekend of July 12th, it started off with just a dry cough, and went into where you were weezing while you were trying to breath. I took you into Urgrent care Sunday morning, the dr said that she would be very surprised if you didn't have RSV.. So we went to the hospital and got your congestion tested. It was negative. Later in the day I was feeding you in my arms, and your face went white and lips turned blue. You wouldn't stop eating to breathe, so I took away your bottle and you regained color. I called your dad because he wasn't home and had my car, and told him he needed to get home because I needed to take you into the ER, a ten minute drive took him 2 minutes and we had you in the car.
On the way to the hospital I was so scared that it was going to happen again, I sped so much that if I had a cop behind me I wouldn't have stopped. I would have just continued. The speed limit on the roads I took were 30 and 40, and I don't think my spedometer went under 50 except when I stopped at a light or stop sign. You were rushed in immediently and your oxygen levels were okay, but everytime you would cough they would drop.
They still haven't been able to figure out why you were so congested, but we tried and tried sucking our your nose, and nothing would come out. The ER doctor ended up admitting you overnight and when we got upstairs they suctioned your nose with a machine and that seemed to work much better. By the end of the night doing the machine suction you were able to breathe normal again. Which made it to where I could breathe again.
It was just me and you little guy. We had a rough night at the hospital but we got through it together. I was so scared while you were in there, being a mother to a sick baby just makes one feel so helpless. There was nothing I could have done for you to feel better besides than just being there for you. And thats exactly what I did. I love you little man. Please don't scare me like that again!
